Several years ago, the Pandora Hearts and Crimson-Shell wikis were merged. Administrators at the time (preceding myself and Kitsunes97) decided this wiki was to become not only the Pandora Hearts wiki, but a collective wiki for all works by Jun Mochizuki.
Since then, substantial changes have been made to the wikis content. We are now (arguably) a more complete wiki for Vanitas content than the vanitasnocarte Fandom URL, and Vanitas pages now make up a considerable portion of our edits and hits. Recent months in particular have seen quite a bit of Vanitas content hosted on our wiki. It is without a doubt an important part of our community and content, and is most certainly here to stay.
Despite both the activity of this wiki's Vanitas community and the long-established custom of including all MochiJun content on this wiki, very few changes had been made to reflect the expansion of content. The wiki's wordmark and title was replaced, Vanitas was given passing acknowledgement on the wiki's front page, and... that was kind of it. The wiki remained for Pandora Hearts in appearance, despite much of its content being for The Case Study of Vanitas.
My promotion to administrator has given me the ability to revamp the wiki's aesthetics and branding. The Case Study of Vanitas is now given a considerably more prominent placement on the wiki's front page, and I've made efforts to incorporate its aesthetics into the wiki's themes. I've replaced the wiki wordmark with Jun Mochizuki's name and signature (as opposed to a combination of the logos for Pandora Hearts, Vanitas, and Crimson-Shell), both as an aesthetic choice and so as not to give one particular work prominence over another.
However, there is still one major change that must be made: the wiki's URL and name. Though most of the wiki's interface now reflects its actual content (and what remains to be changed is yet underway), it is still formally called "Pandora Hearts Wiki" and is operating under the pandorahearts.fandom.com URL. Thus, Kitsunes97 and I have decided to rename the wiki and replace its URL, with user votes.
What does this mean for users? Very little- the replacement of a few URLs and a new header when you check the wiki on mobile. This is not a major change in anything but branding. We desire user participation and votes so that the most desirable brand is chosen.
To facilitate this, I have posted a poll which contains several options for wiki renaming. This is an important step in this wiki's development, and so we ask as many users participate as possible. You do not have to regularly edit the wiki to participate in the vote- people who view the wiki are also asked to participate.
Thanks for your usage and contributions to the Mochizuki Wiki, and we hope to receive your continued patronage.
