Éric (エリク, Eriku) was a minor character from Jun Mochizuki's The Case Study of Vanitas. He along with his wife Louise adopted a young Jeanne as their daughter after the two discovered her alone and abandoned. The pair were students of Lord August Ruthven during his time as a teacher, long before his more significant political achievements, and thus they raised Jeanne as a student of his as well.
Appearance[]
Éric had medium- length light hair and a shy smile.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Éric’s personality, but he seems to have been quiet and responsible. He was a bit meek compared to his wife, Louise, and daughter Jeanne.
History[]
Éric and Louise found Jeanne one day and decided to take her in and raise her as their own.
According to Marquis Machina, Éric and Louise conspired against a group of vampire nobles and plotted to kill them. Éric and Louise were beheaded and their daughter Jeanne became a Bourreau.
