Loki Oriflamme (ロキ・オリフラム, Roki Orifuramu) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's The Case Study of Vanitas. He is a Vampire of the Crimson Moon and in particular a member of one of Vampiric society's most powerful families, the Oriflammes, thus making him the elder brother of Luca and adoptive nephew of August Ruthven. He also serves as a Beastia, directly under the command of the Queen herself. However he is a curse-bearer and thus condemned to a life of isolation despite his high status.

Trivia[]
- "Loki" may possibly derive from the god of Norse mythology, often known as a trickster god with the ability to shapeshift.[2]
- The Oriflamme was a pointed, blood-red banner flown from a gilded lance serving as a war flag for the King of France in the Middle Ages. In French, the term "oriflamme" has come to mean any banner with pointed ends, by association with the form of the original. The term derives from Latin, aurea flamma, which translates to "golden flame" in English.[3]
