Lord Paldence (パルデンス卿 (きょう) , Parudensu Kyou) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's The Case Study of Vanitas. He is a member of the Vampire Senate and thus is one of the most influential and high-ranking Vampires seen thus far, his and his colleagues' decisions largely defining Vampiric society. Paldence is notable for being wily and acute, favoring thoughtful approaches compared to his fellow Senators.

Lord Paldence is an old man with dark eyes and heavy wrinkles, with 3 earrings on his left ear, and is typically seen wearing his senator’s robes.

Personality

Lord Paldence seems to be composed but commanding, as seen when he interrupts Lord Bellator when raising his voice during one of the Senate meetings.
