Premise[]
The Maidora Hearts omake series is a parody manga series with elements of a soap opera, described as a "love-hate drama filled with sadness and betrayal." The Pandora Hearts characters are taken and placed in the roles of maids serving opposing dukedoms, each character who appears wearing some form of maid uniform or dress—meaning the male characters are constantly crossdressing. The series consists of two main story-driven parts, but has also been featured in extra promotional art and shortly in the anime.

Maidora Hearts[]
The first installment, featured as an omake in Pandora Hearts Volume 2.
Ada, Sharon, and Alice are three sisters who are known commonly as the black maids. Some time ago the Vessalius Dukedom took away everything that was dear to them, and so the sisters plot to infiltrate the Dukedom's ranks and take their revenge. However, they experience many obstacles in their way; such as the eldest sister cursed to maintain the body of a toddler, the white maids Gilbert and Break who react hostilely at the first sight of the three. And most serendipitously, an incident causes Alice to meet with the Vessaliuses' daughter who has frail health, Oz.
Despite all that stands in their way, the three sisters continue unwavering in their pursuit—not knowing of the hatred, sadness, betrayal they are soon to experience, and most of all, the love that tops it all.
Maidora Hearts Destroy!![]
The second installment, featured as an omake in the Guidebook Pandora Hearts 8.5: Mine of Mine.
The highly anticipated continuation begins with tragedy—Oz is dying. And as she lays crumpled in Gilbert's arms, weakly asking for just some water, he sobs over her form. Refusing to leave her to die, he flees with her. However his fellow white maid Break stops him in his tracks. Eyeing the dying girl in the other's arms, Break callously laments Gilbert's decision to leave the Vessalius Dukedom, and he wields his broomstick with an iron grip, as if ready to fight.
"The tune of hatred plays once again... The fugue of love that shall never intertwine..."
Sharon has betrayed her sisters, revealing herself to be a double agent employed by the perverted duke, Vincent. Echo has managed to help Alice get to safe refuge and she urges the other to prepare to fight for the fate of the world. But Alice, devastated by the shocking loss of her sister, refuses adamantly; she longer has the will to fight.
"The pitiful, sorrowful lambs who can only hurt one another..."
Oz continues to lay dying in Gilbert's and Oscar's arms. Though she keeps asking for some water, that's all she seriously needs, they ignore her—instead bearing witness to a shocking scene. A hazy magic seeps through the air, surrounding the final black maid sister: Ada. And before long she emerges in her true form, fully grown and finally reflecting her true age. Oscar smiles at her with relief, and Ada takes up a mop. She declares to the evil organization they face against—her spanking power won't be underestimated!
Extras[]
Aside from the main installments, Maidora Hearts has appeared in a number of extra material.
Mochizuki has drawn Maidora Hearts illustrations for the Animate special leaflets for Volume 9 of the manga, and for the second and sixth anime DVDs.
Most notably, Maidora Hearts makes a cameo appearance in Volume 21's "Job Listings" omake. A job listing for the Maidora Café - Reveil Flagship Branch is featured, offering part-time positions in both the hall and the kitchen for a minimum of 850 yen per hour. Work comes in shifts starting with one day a week, beginners and permanent part-timers are welcome, and present staff provides four days of training, uniforms, commuting expenses, and super-delicious meals. In the ad, Echo and Alice pose in a photograph displaying the front of the shop, welcoming aspiring maids to their café.
Anime[]
There are several illustrations of Maidora Hearts scenes that serve as scene transition stills in the first episode of the anime. These consist of:
Alice in a domineering pose with a foot propped up on a bucket and her mop set over her shoulder, smiling down at the camera while Dinah leaps into the air behind her. Sharon and Ada baking cookies together in a kitchen, Sharon rolling out a mass of dough while Ada mixes together dry ingredients, with Dinah sitting atop Ada's head. Oz of the Vessalius Dukedom sitting primly and drinking her afternoon tea, while Break with a devious smile approaches with another cake and Gilbert grumbling unhappily kneels down cleaning up a mess to the side.
