The central character is Sharon Rainsworth, sitting on the floor as the skirt of her dress billows out below her, smiling upwards. Sharon is turned towards the left, and the front of her dress is torn and ripped, to the extent that her left leg from the knee down pokes out of the fabric into the open. Her leg which is poking out of the dress is completely bare, aside from a chain which loops around her ankle and calf. Said chain is intertwined with the stems, leaves, and heads of blooming white lilies, of which there also rests one on the side of Sharon's dress, and clutches delicately in Sharon's hand. Behind Sharon is a silver tea set, with a pot, a filled cup, a sugar holder, and a tray of cookies. In the background behind her is the black-and-white silhouette of a set of three bluebells.

Cheshire and Break are together in center-frame, back to back with Cheshire in front facing forward and Break behind him with his back turned and face unseen. The two of them sit together upon a pile of multicolored multipatterned boxes, surrounded by three white rabbit dolls: one in a small white dress with a twisted smile, one in a green dress with bandaged ears and an eyepatch, and the smallest one in a dark purple overcoat. Behind everything is a disembodied door and a mirror hovering in the air. Cheshire is sitting curled up with his knees to his chest and his arms wrapped around himself.
